What makes you different from the other companies?

📸 4. Uncrowded Reefs + Bonus Snorkel Stops
We visit Molokini and hidden gems like Turtle Town, Puʻu Olai (Red Hill) — depending on conditions.
Smaller groups allow access to quieter reef areas where marine life is abundant and the water is clear.
Every trip is slightly different — no cookie-cutter route here.

How many people go to Molokini Crater each year?
Around 300,000–400,000 visitors snorkel or dive Molokini annually.

About Turtle Town
What is Turtle Town Maui?
Turtle Town is a calm, protected snorkel area along South Maui’s coastline, known for its population of Hawaiian green sea turtles (honu).
The most popular stretch sits between Makena Landing and Maluaka Beach, just a short boat ride from Kihei.
Locals call it “Turtle Town” because the turtles come here daily to feed, rest, and have their shells cleaned by reef fish.
Where is the best place to see sea turtles in Maui?
The best place to swim with turtles on Maui is at Turtle Town, accessible by boat or guided snorkel tours.
The clear water, gentle currents, and sandy channels make it ideal for spotting turtles up close.
You can often see turtles year-round, especially in the calm morning hours.
Can you snorkel with turtles at Turtle Town?
Absolutely! Snorkeling with turtles is the highlight of most Maui ocean tours.
The honu are friendly and used to human presence, but it’s important to keep a respectful distance — at least 10 feet.
Our crew provides gear, safety tips, and local insights to make sure you have a safe and memorable experience.
What’s the best time of day to visit Turtle Town?
Early morning is the best time — the ocean is calmest, and the turtles are most active near the reefs.
Morning trips also have the clearest visibility, often over 80 feet.
Many tours (including ours) combine Molokini + Turtle Town for the ultimate Maui snorkel combo.
Are the turtles in Turtle Town friendly or dangerous?
Hawaiian green sea turtles are gentle and peaceful creatures.
They’re curious but shy — they may swim nearby but shouldn’t be touched or chased.
Remember, honu are protected by federal and state law, so please admire them respectfully and let them move freely.
How can I help protect the turtles and reef?
Use reef-safe sunscreen only — chemical sunscreens harm coral and marine life.
Never stand or walk on coral; it’s alive and fragile.
Dispose of trash properly and avoid feeding fish or turtles.
We follow the Hawaiian principle of “Mālama i ke kai” — care for the ocean so it can care for us.
Do Turtle Town tours include photos or videos?
Yes! Our tours include onboard video and in water photos.
You’ll get underwater photos of your turtle encounters — perfect for sharing your Maui memories.
Guests are also welcome to bring their own GoPro or waterproof phone case for personal shots.
About Hawai'i
What is the State of Hawaiʻi known for?
Hawaiʻi is famous for its aloha spirit, stunning beaches, active volcanoes, and rich Polynesian culture.
The islands are home to world-class snorkeling, hiking, and surf spots — from Maui’s Molokini Crater to Oʻahu’s North Shore.
Locals cherish a lifestyle centered around community, nature, and respect for the land and ocean — “mālama ʻāina” and “mālama i ke kai.”
How many islands make up Hawaiʻi?
The state of Hawaiʻi includes eight main islands: Hawaiʻi (the Big Island), Maui, Oʻahu, Kauaʻi, Molokaʻi, Lānaʻi, Niʻihau, and Kahoʻolawe.
Only six are open to visitors — each offering a unique vibe, landscape, and local culture.
Maui is often called the “Valley Isle” for its lush valleys and world-famous beaches.
Why is it important to respect Hawaiian culture and nature?
Hawaiʻi’s lands and waters are sacred to the Native Hawaiian people.
Simple acts like removing your shoes before entering a home, using reef-safe sunscreen, and never touching wildlife show deep respect.
As locals say, “Take care of the islands, and the islands will take care of you.”
Is Hawaiʻi made of volcanoes?
Yes — every Hawaiian island was formed by volcanic activity millions of years ago.
The Big Island is home to Kīlauea and Mauna Loa, two of the world’s most active volcanoes.
Maui’s Haleakalā Crater is another volcanic giant, now dormant but offering unforgettable sunrise views.
What’s the best time of year to visit Hawaiʻi?
Hawaiʻi has great weather year-round, with warm ocean temperatures and sunny skies.
The dry season (April–October) offers calm seas and great snorkeling, while the cooler season (November–March) brings humpback whales and lush green scenery.
Visiting early morning helps avoid crowds and enjoy calm conditions for ocean adventures.
Do you need a passport to travel to Hawaiʻi?
U.S. citizens do not need a passport — Hawaiʻi is the 50th state of the United States.
International travelers will need the same documents required for entry into the U.S. mainland.
Inter-island travel is easy and often just a short 30-minute flight.
What does “Aloha” really mean?
“Aloha” is more than a greeting — it’s a way of life.
It means love, peace, compassion, and connection with others and the land.
Living with aloha means showing kindness, patience, and gratitude in all you do.
